The Revolution is spreading: Libya, Algeria, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria, Iran, and now Kuwait.

The images and video coming out of the Middle East are stunning and shocking. The successful revolution in Egypt is spreading rapidly. Just view some of the images below and get involved. Get the word out: History is taking place before our very eyes!

These demonstrators need our help. At the very least, you can join Twitter and send messages to those putting their lives on the line for liberty and a better life.

For instance, this gentlemen in Bahrain writes on his Twitter page:

Going to #lulu , probably gunna sleep there wish me luck ! #bahrain #feb14

To which I @ replied him, which means that he (and all his followers) will read this message I sent him, as he goes down to Lulu Circle, the main area where the demonstrators were savagely beaten and killed the other night:

@MhamadHasan Good luck, Hasan! We are with you here in the US! Democracy and Freedom, bro! #Bahrain, #lulu

[Note: the "hashtags" - # - means that those terms are searchable on Twitter. When added to a tweet, your tweet will show up when that term is searched by others.]

Now, to start the videos below, here's what happened at Lulu Circle the other night, as reported by Nick Kristoff of the NY Times (you have to suffer through a 30 second commercial at first, but please watch this video):

You can also follow Kristoff's tweets like this one from two days ago:

Just met Dr Sadiq Ekri, surgeon who was beaten by #Bahrain police as he tried to help injured. He is unconscious, on oxygen.Thu Feb 17 18:18:26 via Twitter for BlackBerry

Or these two from 15 minutes ago!

And here's me in the roundabout. Many Bahrainis thanked me for my work; makes me feel grt as a journalist. http://twitpic.com/41hni0

A hopeful sign i just photographed in the roundabout. #Bahrain http://twitpic.com/41hlg2

And here's his latest blog post from less than an hour ago.

Finally, you can follow up-to-date news at the NY Times blog, "The Lede."

This news report has more coverage from inside the hospital in Manama, Bahrain, the other night:

And here's an incredible video shot up close when demonstrators came under intense fire from the military. CNN was showing this last night on AC360:

This one is from Yemen:

This one is from Syria:

From the crucial site, Libyafeb17.com, comes this gruesome video of an African mercenary caught and killed by the demonstrators (read the comments section for a translation of what was said on camera):

This video from a smaller city in Libya:

And finally, this YouTube page of over a dozen of videos shot from inside Libya:

From Iran comes this undercover video shot by a demonstrator unbeknownst to the security forces who were all around him as he crossed back and forth across the street:

Even Kuwait has now caught the Revolution virus:

And on and on and on...

We are witnessing historic times. The fall of the Arab Berlin Wall, 20 years after the Iron Curtain was brought down by revolution.

Do your part and send your support. Join Twitter and express your support to those like Mohamed Hasan in Bahrain, who's in Lulu Circle, right now, pressing his body against the power of the oppressive regime.
