Well, well, well...I guess it's no surprise that the man with the EGO and a positive, necessary, message has decided to run for the Oval Office - AGAIN.
Although Nader is an articulate and powerful voice that truly needs to be heard, it's just so incredibly difficult to take his devotion to a third party candidacy seriously. I mean, he ran on the Green Party Ticket in 2000 with the intent of starting a serious third party movement in this country, and now he's completely abandoned that movement. I thought his goal in 2000 was to create a valid third party, and now he's starting from scratch - again?
One can only wonder where Nader's efforts have been directed over the past four years if he wasn't building upon the Green Party movement he started?
I believe that he is devoted to making the country a better place to live, but his method has been disastrous (re: Gore/Bush - 2000), and will definitely NOT help the ABB movement (Anybody-But-Bush - 2004).
Why doesn't Nader strive to fix the system by truly organizing the Green Party, or advocating a true, Proportional Representational Government? Because he incorrectly thinks that he can affect more change by running for President.
Does it really have to get worse before it gets better?
