There has recently been a flurry of activity around the blogosphere and in the papers (perhaps spurred on by Krugman's series he's been writing about concerning the failings of the system in this country).

This post has a terrific synopsis of the issues, where he draws upon data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation & Development.

Do you think there is any hope that the current administration will ever address this terrible crisis? Health Savings Accounts are a great idea, but don't even come close to fixing any of the problems. It works for rich people, but what about the 40 million uninsured?
