Two Miracles of 2009 (so far).
January 18, 2009 12:02 PM

#1) Our 44th (First Black) President - Barack Hussein Obama!!

#2) A true miracle-maker, for sure: The Hero of the Hudson - Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger!!

As for what it was like inside the plane as The Hero of the Hudson - Captain "Sully" - landed US Air flight 1549 in the frigid Hudson, read this article from the NY Times - "After Splash, Nerves, Heroics and Comedy."

A few money quotes:

"My daughter said, 'Daddy, the plane turned into a boat,' "

And this woman, who definitely has nine lives:

Ms. Bruce said she had survived disasters before, including the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, where she worked then. "I must have nine lives," she said. "I was vacationing in Honolulu and had to be evacuated for a tsunami. I was skiing in Denver and had an avalanche. I flew into the eye of a hurricane. I was at the big L.A. earthquake."

She's only got four left. Thanks to the Hero of the Hudson!
