Weekly MP3 (10/26/07): Vinson Valega Quartet - "This is What Democracy Sounds Like"
October 26, 2007 12:12 AM

Earlier this week, we played at The Garage in The Village and recorded this version of "This is What Democracy Sounds Like."

Inspired by sounds I heard while marching in a protest back in 2004 against the Iraq war, we first recorded it on "Awake" in 2005. This latest version was played with the upcoming protest march this Saturday, October 27th, in mind.

If you're fed up with this ongoing disaster in Iraq, you must show up at one of the 11 regional protest marches to let your voice be heard. It's at least better than not protesting and remaining quiet!

So, check out "This is What Democracy Sounds Like," then go tell your fellow Americans what Democracy means to you...
