Weekly MP3 (9/11/07): Ganz Brothers - "A Boot"
September 11, 2007 5:04 PM

Here's a romp in 3/4 time recorded back in 1999 at Avatar Studios in New York City. Written by Steve Ganz (tenor sax) for the Canadian bassist in the band, George Mitchell, the title is a play on how George always pronounced the word "about."

This band, co-led by the brothers Steve and Keith Ganz (guitar), was a short lived cooperative that rehearsed quite a bit but barely played a gig together! "A Boot" comes from the recording, "First Steps," which can be dowloaded at eMusic.com.

Check it out!
