Well, we're back in NYC after playing in Philadelphia on Friday night at Chris' Jazz Cafe', and man, was it fun. The sextet sounded fantastic!
We had a great crowd and played three sets between 9pm and 1:30am. We played songs from the new CD, "Awake," of course ("The Trend is Your Friend," "Awake," Sputnik, etc"), tunes from "Consilience" ("Long and Wrong" and "Tidepools"), and even one from "Live@147" ("Send One Your Love"). I recorded it and will be posting some MP3s soon. We even had the second set videotaped and will be linking to that once it's edited.
Next stop with this band is at The Blue Note here in New York City on Monday, June 25th - two sets: 8:00 & 10:00pm. There's only a $10 cover, so come on down and check out the music at the end of the month.
