This week's MP3 is from a performance back in February (2.12.07 to be exact) at a restaurant/performance space we used to play at on a weekly basis called DEKK. Located in Tribeca, the room was one of the best sounding in which I've ever played, so the music usually felt great.
This is a recording of the Jules Styne standard, "Just in Time," by my trio, featuring Chris Bacas on soprano & tenor saxophones and Gary Wang on bass. Check out how Chris changes to Tenor later in the song when we begin to trade eights. He's unstoppable!
You can download the MP3 here (it's a large one - almost 10mb).
This week's bonus is that this performance was also caught on tape...check it out:
[Note: I've posted more videos on YouTube]
Cheers and thanks for listening!
