Andrew Hill Interview in the NY Times
February 26, 2006 1:20 AM

The great pianist, 69 year-old Andrew Hill, recently sat down with Ben Ratliff of the New York Times to talk about his life and his influences. It all started with Bird, when Parker told Andrew, "I look at melody as rhythm."

Check out the entire interview here. It's fascinating which songs Andrew chooses to listen to during the interview.
