The last time The Federal Reserve raised interest rates.

It's been since 2006 since The Fed raised interest rates, which means that there's an entire generation that has graduated into adulthood knowing only a zero-percent interest rate environment.
Let that sink in as Fed Chair, Janet Yellin, decides (yesterday) to postpone the first interest rate hike in nine years!
