Whole Foods' CEO talks about factory farms, unions, and his soon-to-be $30 Billion company
January 1, 2005 10:40 PM

Here's a great interview over at Grist from John Mackey, founder of Whole Foods.

As a vegan libertarian who is anti-union, his stances on profit sharing ("team workers" make 24% of profits in a profit sharing program and he's capped his own salery, for instance), Whole Foods' new humane treatment standards of animals, and the growth of the organic industry are all discussed.

He's quite an interesting fella!
