Bush Global Warming Expert Headed to Exxon
June 15, 2005 1:41 AM

Wow! Just a few days ago, the New York Times revealed how Philip Cooney, chief of staff to Bush's Council on Environmental Quality, edited reports on global warming to downplay concerns raised by the scientific community - and now he's announced he's heading off to Exxon at the end of the year.

What a funny coincidence!

Too bad that eight years of this presidency will go down in history as the biggest waste of opportunities concerning environmental issues. Is it another coincidence that the price of oil has been well over $30 ever since Bush invaded Iraq?
