Real Live X-Mas Tree vs the Fake Tree

Well, for all you folks out there celebrating Christmas with a tree, the inevitable choice has arrived: buy the real live one that is grown to be cut down then discarded vs. the fake vinyl one that can be used over year in and year out?

Hmm....the folks at Grist have weighed all the pros and cons...and the answer is:

No Vinyl - That's Final!

Find a sustainable, small family-owned tree farm if you must, OR don't buy one at all...
