Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O'Connor, has a new website!
April 12, 2010 4:17 PM

Check out 80-year old, retired Supreme Court Justice, Sandy Day's newest project:

OurCourts.org:

Our Courts is a web-based education project designed to teach students civics and inspire them to be active participants in our democracy. Our Courts is the vision of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, who is concerned that students are not getting the information and tools they need for civic participation, and that civics teachers need better materials and support.
Check out Sandy's video here!

On her site, teachers can access lesson plans and students can interact with features such as "Civics in Action" and "Talk to the Justice," where students can tell each other and Justice O’Connor about their opinions and their civic participation.

Get involved and reinvigorate civics learning inside and outside the classroom. Spread the word: Sandy has gone all Consilience on us!
