This video of Katie Couric's interview of Sarah Palin, where she asks Sarah to discuss how the proximity of Russia to Alaska helps her foreign policy credentials, borders on a Saturday Night Live parody. It's a truly remarkable look into the vapid mind of our (potential) next president. Just incredible:
It's no wonder that the McCain campaign wants to keep her away from the press. In fact, this charade of "running up to Washington to save the economy" is part of the stunt to keep Palin off the air. How? Well, if the debate tomorrow night is put off into the Vice President slot next week, and the Palin/Biden debate gets pushed back (like, to November 5th), then he gets to keep her off the air. Period. In fact, McCain put off appearing on David Letterman and met Couric so that Couric would run his interview instead of the Sarah Palin disaster interview.
Incredible.
