Syria in secret talks with Israel
January 16, 2007 2:09 AM
In a series of secret meetings in Europe between September 2004 and July 2006, Syrians and Israelis formulated understandings for a peace agreement between Israel and Syria.
Here you have the potential for a huge breakthrough to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and where's the Bush administration? Only the U.S. has the muscle to 'git 'er done' in the Middle East. And these talks have been going on for over TWO YEARS??
It's quite obvious that the Bushies really have no interest in bringing about peace in the Middle East, isn't it?
